Research paper - Essay Example Hemingway’s statements were short and direct, then there are parts that reflect the way the main character was thinking; Hemingway did not waste too many word explaining, and I liked that. Maupassant’s story was so memorable because it is true today as it was during his time, that people can be just as hypocritical.
